IfeMemberHi Alisa, that’s so cool that you have published children’s books! I’m excited to look into them. We have a 4 year old and a 1 year old and we are essentially unschooling too. I love Naomi Aldort’s (the author of Raising Our Children, Raising Ourselves) advice around children reading which is that the later they read the stronger their memory actually becomes. So we’ve been trying to be very gentle around reading with our sons. But we also love to read and really enjoy books like Flossie and the Fox by Rachel Isadora and Earth Mother by Ellen Jackson. And it’s been really interesting observing my 4 year old getting into reading. He’s really into the graphic novel Avatar books by Gene Luen Yang and we’ll get a few from the library at a time and kind of leave them with him for a few days and read them to him at night and after us reading them, sometimes only once, we’ll listen to him read them outloud when he’s on the potty or just chilling and hear him using the cues of the pictures to reiterate what we’ve said. As if he’s memorizing the book. Eventually, after a while he’ll be able to read the entire books almost word for word from memory. And since they are library books, after a while we’ll start over with a new part of the series and he’ll do it over again. It’s been suuuper interesting!

IfeMemberSo specifically in this moment I’m wondering if anyone has experience with wheezing in a 13 month old. He’s breathing seems fine other wise. I’ve given him minerals and sambucus homeopathy. It came after he threw up all of a sudden but didn’t seem to have any other symptoms outside of being a little extra fussy and wanting to be held. I know some would say wheezing in babies is a emergency so I just wanted to get a more terrain-holistic perspective.

IfeMemberhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sAxBgAGOssQ Here’s one song that has aligning and walking with/through/as/by source vibes. I’m not about the religious correlations, but everything else feels so on point.

IfeMemberThis is so sweet Kelly, Thank you, I’ve started that cell salt protocol with him now and I’m excited to look more into that book! And also, thank you for your affirming words. I feel like this platform and others like it is that for me, just a place to be reminded that we got this, the “allopathic addicts” (lol) are the ones that are trippin, not us and that we have so much support on so many levels. So thank you and I send prayers of wellness to your son as well. You got this mama!

IfeMemberThanks for that Eliza, it definitely sounds like throat, I’ll try to get him some of those remedies also. I did some muscle testing and discovered there was some cadmium exposure, we got caught in a friends house with tobacco smoke pouring in the door the other day so that may be the source. Anyway, I supported that to clear so hopefully we’ll see improvement soon.

IfeMemberThis song got vibes! A little depressing the message, lol. But for sure I can see this eliciting some normie reflections for sure. My 4 year old son (Pèlé) definitely thought the guy was “magical” with all the graphic designs, lol. Thank for sharing!

IfeMemberOk, my son watched it. 🙂 It was soooo sweet thank you again for sharing! he could totally relate to Mei’s experience chasing animals and laughing maniacally, he was even laughing maniacally watching her ? which isn’t his usual experience when he watches films. But he definitely had a suuuuper hard time when he thought Mei was dead. My lord, did I have to keep him close and affirm it would all be well! But it turned out with him calm and reflective on if he would’ve been able to be friends with Totoro even though he roared. lol. I’m excited to get back to our cabin in North Carolina after these holiday adventures and see if he takes a few steps deeper into exploring our backyard woods by himself. ??
