I’ve been running this for awhile and it works really well…once you figure out the syncing.

When I started, I used a Raspberry Pi, but that turned out to be way too under powered. So I moved it to a Dell Optiplex mini and it’s perfect. Start9 runs in a VM on Linux, so I can also run other apps like Qortal on the same machine.

I moved from 1Password to Vaultwarden and my contacts, kanban board and calendar now all run on Start9 via Nextcloud. They all sync to my phone and laptop, so I’m off Google services for day-to-day stuff except for email.

The server also backs up and restores easily to my local NAS drive.

If you want to keep more of your data under your control, check it out.

I just started using the DMSO hair growth spray along with the rest of Amanda’s protocol and I’ve seen a noticeable improvement in just the first 2 weeks.

Also, I would suggest researching the “iron deficiency” thing more. From what I understand, low iron in the blood is not something that can be fixed with iron supplements. The issue seems to be that the iron gets trapped in the organs and that’s why it’s not in the blood. Getting more copper can bring the iron out and get it circulating again. Even vegetarians with normal body function won’t be low in iron. Putting more iron into the system can cause inflammation. Again, I just have a rudimentary understanding of this, so check it out for yourself. Maybe that’s a reason for the sudden hair loss?

It’s good to have at least 1 on/off ramp from fiat to crypto and that requires ID. Not a big deal.

Both me and my wife had one and it’s a very well built device.

A chiropractor we know did some muscle testing on my wife and she was significantly weaker when wearing the ring, so she sold it. She used it to mostly count her steps, so she bought a simple pedometer and is using that instead. She also found that the sleep numbers were stressing her out, hahaha.

The user data will probably get bought and tracked at some point, if it isn’t already, so that’s why I sold mine. I’ve been using the HeartMath device in place of the Oura Ring for HRV data and it works well.

You could also try Presearch, supposed to be fully hosted on independent nodes. I mostly use Brave, but if I cannot find what I’m looking for I jump over to Google.

Google usually provides the best results. Just use it with a VPN and in any browser that you’re not logged into your Google account.

No need to fear, just setup a few precautions.

I’m in the process of setting this up. Ah OK, this is more of a property tax issue. I would talk to Marcia Ann or maybe these guys can consult: https://youtu.be/gqAnD_f6wsI?si=tRjQhsq_eFTTZmOW&t=550

Nice! I have a 5 year old Dell also and it runs great.

I got the Ryzen 5 processor, 2.8K screen, model with 6 ports for $1,055 + shipping/tax. That was without RAM, SSD and charger because I already had them.

Thanks, I finally bought it (along with the other supplements she recommends) and it’s been working well.

Cool. It’s surprisingly usable now. LibreOffice is pretty decent for Word/SS stuff.

Yeah, I couldn’t get any updates from the Snap Store on Ubuntu, most would fail. Flathub has been solid so far.
