KevMemberI haven’t read up on Dr.Homeo’s advice on this, but what initially comes to mind is the approach of detoxing “drug layers”, or detoxing from pharmaceutical drugs.. Lisa Strbac mentioned it in her Alfacast conversation, and my ears perked up, as that is something I want to get through — years and years of pharma poisons lodged in my body.. and I wasn’t surprised to hear Barre say he used to make homeo remedies based on pharma drugs for this purpose..
Don’t know if this approach is correct when it comes to vaccines though, for the fact that those concoctions contain a multitude of poisons.. as do pharma pills though, too.. but how do you get hold of vaccine serums to concoct remedies from them??.. or is it one component at a time??.. Lisa mentioned a man that did seminal work on detoxing drug layers.. I believe he’s from the Netherlands, and his name has the letters “Jens” in it somewhere I remember.. I think his last name is Jensen.. His book is on Amazon; I checked.. very expensive and about 600 pages I think.. Seems to me that’s rather advanced and for experienced homeopaths..
but maybe all that’s not so necessary; and if Thuja for example shows results, that’s a good place to start..

KevMemberA video on using a specific species of Lichen to make purple fabric dye!.. Not sure I’ve ever seen lichen used for fabric dyeing, but not certain, though I have thought about it.. (I’ve macerated Usnea in ethyl alcohol, but that doesn’t produce a color or pull a pigment into solution, if there is one).. And not sure I’ve ever seen this specific species growing around here either (Punctelia rudecta), but we’ve got lots of other varieties.. Some grey’s and grey-blue’s that grow on rocks, to green ones, to some that have an electric acid yellow color (for lack of better words), a grey-blue one that looks like little mushrooms, and a really common light slate-blue lichen that grows everywhere on tree bark and downed tree branches & twigs.. Here he uses ammonia to extract the dye, but I’m also thinking of collecting various lichens and using ethyl alcohol (Everclear) and vinegar to start.. Have had a lot of success pulling flower pigments into solution with vinegar.. (ammonia would be the next experiment as I don’t particularly care to work with such a chemical).. And hey, methinks urine would be an excellent solvent as well.. 🙂 ..9-minute video.. anyone else here ever done any natural fabric dye production??.. would love to learn mordanting myself, which I’ve never done..

KevMemberBoom.. now that’s the story of all stories.. 💜 .. But the question is: whatch’all doin’ over there in Colorado, makin’ magic n thangs?.. 😊
-
KevMemberOh lord, Kev loves these!.. Gimme fairies & building-engineering thangs, and I’m all in.. Lol.. I must say, your daughters are very special and brilliant little ones, aren’t they?.. I’ve gotten a lot of inspiration from these works!.. 💜 ..thanks for starting this thread, Erin.. can’t wait to see others upload art from the young ones.. 🙂

KevMemberThese are freaky, and me loves..

KevMemberThe pencil+watercolor of the dog is next-level.. I love to see, and admire, when someone can create form out of changes in shading or color saturation with watercolors.. Seems simple, but not always so easy, so to speak.. methinks some folks got a natural knack for it.. Abe’s pretty brilliant at it, for example..

KevMemberI see a canine and the name Kaya in multiple places.. Is that the family dog, or a local wolf or coyote that received a name from Ella?.. Lol.. Love this jack-o-lantern!..

KevMemberwill do, for sure!

KevMemberIt is frustrating indeed.. I’ve looked into hiring a local homeopath.. can’t afford him to begin with, and I’m trepidatious (right word?) about where he would stand on basic philosophy (i.e. the body is self-healing and you just need to give it the proper information.. versus viral infections and blah blah).. this is Portland, so it’s all about infections and contagion here, and “biology is a battlefield”.. and “staying safe” from the world out to get you..
I really really want to study homeopathy properly, as in schooling.. no money for that either.. not even.. at the very least, wanna get hold of all the books and self-learn (autodidactism?).. I need me some book titles that will facilitate the learning (not typical at-home manuals for self-medicating).. was thinking about starting a discussion thread here regarding book titles in the vein of curricula, so we can teach ourselves.. Materia medicas aren’t enough; they’re relatively meaningless without the foundations..
But who has the time anyways? .. I got 1247 things to get done..

KevMemberLots of questions on those I’d like to talk with a well-experienced homeopath about.. interesting that most of those individual remedies are potentized at different potencies, and all put together.. and I wonder how the nosodes are meant to work.. if a vaccine has a broken down “viral particle” in it, (or a sequence of nucleic acids or RNA), which are meant to act as poisons to stimulate the body in some way, then does the potentized nosode (the same sequences) work to neutralize them?? .. all interesting .. I personally wouldn’t take those formulations until I knew everything I could from those who are experienced with it.. I would at the very least need to confirm that all the things in the formulations were things I was injected with.. I wouldn’t want to take a nosode or vaccine component that wasn’t put in my body to begin with.. it’s the issue of “proving”, or evoking the sickness they’re meant to treat..
Are they liquid drops?? sounds like it..

KevMemberThis is indeed a fascinating topic.. I’ve been seeing an AK for over a year, and it’s astonishing to me what I experience in that, and what he is able to find.. I wonder how much he knows of Beardall and CK.. I don’t know enough to bring it up with him at this point, but perhaps an inquiry into the human computer with him, I’m sure he’d know what I’m talking about (though he doesn’t know what GNM is, so who knows).. It’s astonishing, even with just AK, what he can “find” in my field and my body — literally, he can find very specific memories coursing through my system and able to bring them out and into awareness (often, stuff I was already starting to work through and bring to the surface).. but to not go on about it..
I’m so astonished by just AK, and in addition to my foray into and success with homeopathy, I’m sure these things are two of the most important keys available to us.. I always knew “energy work” was the most essential, but it’s not till you experience it and put it into perspective..
Oh, Barre, I’m in Portland, and had heard of Beardall in passing, but didn’t know he had been in Lake Oswego.. There’s not too many AK’s in the area, believe it or not.. Right now, I can think of only 5, and they all say “go to” the AK I see, as he’s the most experienced and competent it would seem, and does trainings and classes.. One said, “he’s the one we all learn from”.. but still, wondering what he knows of these other things..
I’ve considered studying AK myself, even if by the armchair.. I need more time.. 🙂

KevMemberYes, I agree, black & white without color is more challenging & more impactful in the end.. A basic pencil sketch, when you capture it, can be monument.. it’s prob the main reason why I like using vine (soft) charcoal — it affords you the ability to create shading & blending, quite easily.. very challenging to get it “just right” sometimes, but there’s no crutch there, you’re laid bare in the process.. I’ve always enjoyed doing human faces with vine charcoal — the challenge is in the form and the shading, yet it also gives you the opportunity to create new and different characters out of the ether.. discovered something new last year — charcoal with just a touch of color in the form of oil pastels.. that’s fun.. .. .. 🙂

KevMemberThanks for the nudge!.. Long time ago I had a vision for a piece featuring a dragon (inspired by a tattoo I saw on a gentleman based on Chinese paper cut art).. the idea was originally something in the vein of the dragon being the Creator, and the source of light & dark, yin & yang, blah blah.. in my mind, was gonna be colorful but with a fair amount of darkness and blackness (visually), the void from which Creation emerges.. now I have a renewed vision — black & white (done in charcoal maybe), with maybe a wee-bit of color pastel.. But I also have 7 pieces currently in-process, so, gonna get a round tuit, yes??.. Lol.. 💜

KevMemberYep, onboard with all that.. sometimes it’s like being a walking radio antenna.. we will get there well enough.. 🤩
