Last year I transplanted a few big comfrey plants within 1.5 ‘ of my house. They satisfied the decorative need (I do want to try them medicinally), but I’m thinking of re-transplanting as my home is >100 y/o and unsure of lead traces in perimeter soil.

Maybe I should post this question somewhere else? Anyone have a suggestion for testing plant/soil or using microbes to break down heavy metals/lead. I have an older EM liquid, that I’ve reinoculated with molasses, maybe it does the breakdown job maybe not.
