Gabriele SteinerMemberThank you so very much for your ideas, Amber and Erin – they are amazing and really support some of my own thinking about the heel spur.
I did wonder about my liver function, and it is true that when I am in California (usually three months out of the year now), I always feel mineral depleted at the end. And this heel issue started at the end of my CA stay in March. I will work on my mineral intake — and uptake, which means supporting my liver more. MSM supplementation along with upping my AV fulvic minerals was an idea I had last week. Amanda Vollmer seems to really swear by MSM as well, and I trust her judgement. And just today, I found an osteopath (here in Austria) to figure out gait and other related issues: she sounds right up my alley, but should I need more, I will ask you for your recommendation of that person in Ohio, Amber.
As far as GNM, Erin, I love what you say and feel there is truth to it (and yes, I’m right-handed): My nesting “issue” is to re-integrate into Austria after decades of living/working in the US. Austria is where I grew up and where I have family. But … it’s not easy to make that return happen and lots of worries have come with it, especially over the last year (and right now it is unbelievably difficult to simply find an apartment). So … onward and off to work. 😉
Many thanks again – for your ideas and reading/witnessing this. I hope others will be supported by it as well.

Gabriele SteinerMemberHello!
Thank you, Tony, for this question! I have actually just recently asked myself that same question — and yes, I would love to hear Dr. Barre’s response.

Gabriele SteinerMemberThank you, Sherri! Yes, magnesium is extremely important to my well-being: I have taken it in form of magnesium citrate for years. Then a couple of months ago, I switched over to magnsium phosphoricum cell salts (from a great apothecary here in Austria). I can tell, they make a difference – especially, I believe, with absorption.
The things that seem to help with the heel spur most at the moment seem to be MSM and a comfrey salve: super helpful!
Thank you all for your insights. I love this exchange and your support!
