    Hi Hulda,

    Thank you for creating this discussion! I moved to Crescent City in summer 2023, mostly inspired by Alfacast – Mike advertising the beauty of this area in every episode LOL!

    I was fortunate to find a rental in this area and I think I am going to stay put during 2024.
    I do agree with Barre about we creating community wherever we are. However, I was in a place that was as “normie” as it would get. e.g. in our previous house we were surrounded by 10-15 “known” wifi networks from neighbors; everyone is marching towards “dumb” cities there. Also it was relatively easy for me to move as I did not have any familial ties where we were living.

    I think I will stay put in the current home in 2024. However, I am very interested in any long term community building where families who want to “live rural” want to locate in an area, especially in Northern California!!

    I think that delete options deletes all messages with the specific members. I don’t want to do that. Also, I am sure it deletes message only from my view.

    I was looking for a functionality more like Telegram where messages can be edited or deleted after being sent.
