At 76 years, my life is solitary and revolves around gardening, cooking and releasing childhood trauma by not medicating symptoms.

Basically, my time is spent taking care of myself, my two small dogs and my HOA plot. Life has distilled down to what I love most. DIY is my motto and I spend a lot of time on YT learning how to: can, sharpen my ax, prune fruit trees, determine if firewood is too wet to burn, garden No Dig/Permaculture, use my wood stove, build a doghouse, make compost teas, grow my own veggie starts for my gardens, make my own greenhouses, build water catchment systems and compost. 95% of what passes my lips and my dogs’ is made from scratch with emphasis on high nutrient content. I live in a semi rural area and the small farms are glorious supplements to my little gardens. Offgrid living, Homesteading and Bushcraft are my passion.
