@ew & @abramara Thank you! I just looked back at my reply, my goodness… I meant to say I welcome anyone else’s thoughts, too. Jeez, I was rushing to get to my Azure order today and my brain was certainly not in gear nor my manners!
Eliza, I will take a look at the fig tree, I have seen those on our other one when they are ripe. We have to grab the figs a bit early and let them fully ripen on a plate inside due to the ants. Can’t blame them…the figs are delicious! Poor you and your movers! I bet they were the fastest movers ever!!! You are correct, it is beautiful and a work of art. Nature is just amazing.

I did hear from someone who said that if you find them or yellow jackets in a nest in the ground, you can toss a granola bar, marshmallow, or something sweet into the hole. If you have raccoons (or bears or armadillos) they will go for the sweets and eat the insects as well. Since you can’t move one in the ground, that sounds much more appealing than any sort of sprays. The things you learn!

@ew and @abramara , thank you! Yes, it would have to been very early morning hours, but even then it has probably been too warm here in Charlotte, NC. They try to say we are in the upper 90s, but the hourly actually shows it is not quite that hot, but still pretty warm. Very dry, no rain for many weeks to speak of.

Too funny about the vibes, Eliza! Maybe, I should use the pendulum and see what the hive wants me to do, lol.

I welcome anyone else’s thoughts, though.

@davem , there is a recent Eczema thread under the group Ask Dr. Barre that may be helpful to you. A lot of members are at Music and Sky this week/weekend, so you may get more replies and suggestions after they return. And, you may wish to repost then as well.

@Kev, thank you for these! I’ve made it before, but it has been so long. I’m inspired now and will be at the market tomorrow! Got some planning to do! I just made Kraut the other day, so I’m getting back in the groove…

Oh, I do feel for you. I’ve had it for such long periods of my life ALL over my body (scratching until I bleed) and it was difficult to get rid of. It started when I was a young child and over so much of my adult years. I suspect what heals it is different for all of us. Just like diets can be different for all of us. We all have different experiences in life.

My personal thoughts on my issue is that it was some sort of toxin or poisoning. I believe all illness is either lack of something or too much of something (toxic/poisoning) and sometimes a combination. I believe my liver was overloaded, couldn’t handle the burden, so my skin had to provide an outlet. The more I had poisoned myself, clogged up my skin (skin care with plastics, glycerin, etc.), clogged up all the outlets of my body (kidneys, colon, skin, lungs, etc.) the longer it took for things to come out and the situation to resolve. I actually had been eating pretty clean for a while, but stopping the creams, lotions, and potions was HARD and it got so much worse (as everything now had an outlet). I had basically put the equivalent of plastic wrap on my body and my skin couldn’t take anything in or out. I feel I had damaged my natural skin barrier by using the products that I did for years…it no longer knew how to function or provide the barrier itself.

Things that helped me. Coffee enemas weekly, electrolytes afterwards. Epson Salt baths (magnesium sulfate). Natural fabrics. Cotton gloves from the pharmacy to wear at night to help prevent scratching. If I had known about it at the time, Liver Gall Bladder Flushes per Andreas Moritz (his updated book on this). Colonics might help as well.

Lots of vegetables, fiber, fruits, clean water, and all that. You’re here, so I expect you get that part. But, I think we have to be careful and be sure we are replenishing the body as well. Like Dr. Barre says in some of his presentations…we don’t want to be too acidic or too alkaline. We aim for balance. I would be prepared it may take a while and not be easy, but it’s worth it. I hardly use even natural oils on my skin on my body, there are no rashes (unless something is really wrong), few scars, and I know you realize how happy it makes me. It was worth the difficulty in getting here and I did learn a lot on the way.

I wish you the best! The sooner you start, the sooner you will get there! 😉

Many years ago in the US South where I live, most fences were made of old cedar trees. They lasted forever it seemed. And, of course back then every farm had lots of trees on their land, including cedars. Just a thought to share.

Pretty cool! It is a beautiful ball cap! Funny how sometimes it takes minute, but we realize there is a connection.

@alittlefolkedup , I think you have to download the PDF to be able to read it for some reason here. It only shows the 1st page otherwise. Here is a link to the farm website.

@dorothy.mandel , here is the basic part without copying too much of the document. You will probably need to use the download feature to read it or so it seems. Hopefully, this helps…
“The Supreme Court instituted the “open fields doctrine” through a
series of decisions beginning in 1924. This doctrine interprets the
Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution as giving the government
carte blanche access to billions of acres of private property—in other
words, Fourth Amendment protection doesn’t extend to open fields.”

@davegiblin , I sent you a connection request so that I can message you. Just wanted to forward something to you that might be helpful.

As to the Quinton water (salt water)…I don’t know how that compares to the sea plasma Dr. Cowan sells in price, but I think it is pretty much the same thing. Dr Cowan does take it daily (as opposed to other things he may sell) and I use it pretty regularly. https://drtomcowan.com/products/marine-plasma-drinkable-sea-water?variant=38041511264409

I hope that helps and will keep your son in prayers going forward!
