Greetings! I’m a mother of four, grandmother of seven. My husband and I have lived here in NW Arkansas since 1974, farming in a small rural community. We currently raise grass fed Angus beef and organic egg chickens for Cal-Maine. I home schooled our children K-12 and we all loved it. Our children all ended up living on the same dirt road which is a major blessing for us all. I was interested in organic gardening for many years and my husband is now finally coming around to regenerative farming. It took so many years of my nagging and frustration with his pesticides, and even working for Tyson Foods as well as raising chickens for that company. (gasp) And of all things, I’m a vegetarian! But we made it together for over 50 years.

Graduated Syracuse University 1969 with a BA in History, taught elementary school 2 years, taught an English course at a Berlitz School in Germany, medical editor 8 years, and my favorite, homemaker for most of my life.

I enjoy growing vegetables and flowers in my garden, history, photography, languages, healthy living, animal rescue, dog and horse lover, making friends all over the realm, and so many things! Always curious about what’s going on in this realm!
