    Hey all,
We were talking about urine therapy in a recent thread I posted on eye health, and I had a question I wanted to post here. For those of you who are deep into UT, do you know if it’s only recommended with a vegetarian diet, or when one eats very little meat and dairy?

In The Golden Fountain by van der Kroon he advises urine therapy with a vegetarian diet, refraining from meat and dairy (as it makes the urine acidic, which he says may be harmful to ingest).

It is advisable to follow a vegetarian diet during intensive application of urine therapy. This means that it is best for you to refrain from eating all meat and dairy products, or at least reduce this to a minimum, especially if you practise the therapy for an extended period of time. This also applies if you are fasting or if you drink several glasses of urine per day.

If you continue to eat meat, you probably have a high concentration of nitrogen wastes, uric acids and other (acidic) substances in your urine, which are not helpful when reingested in these large amounts. A surplus of these substances in the blood can lead to an abnormally high degree of acidity. The body consequently ‘acidifies’, creating a breeding ground for illnesses.”

Before I read that, I used UT on a small burn I have on my leg and left a wrap soaked with urine on it for a few hours. When I took it off, the skin was all red (beyond the small burn itself) and I still see the redness today a little even though this was three days ago.

Of course when I read that part in his book I was like, “maybe it’s too acidic and that’s why!” but honestly, I have no idea.

And side note, I’m enjoying this interview with ADV on shivambu.

@Kev that is incredible. I truly buy into this ‘link up’ that you speak of. And, if we ever have an in person AV gathering, I vote you as chef. What amazing creations you make!

I did carnivore too for a bit last year, but it doesn’t work for me long term.

And about sungazing, I love being out to get the light at sunrise and sunset but have not done the gazing directly at the sun yet. Was just reading this page earlier today about Hira Ratan Manek’s approach, fascinating: https://solarhealing.com/process/

P.S. It sounds like you’re an amazing cook, I tried to make butter chicken the other week, it was my first attempt at Indian, and it isn’t easy!! What is this favorite go-to dish you speak of? 😀

Thanks for sharing, I have noticed the cloudiness as well vs much clearer and more neutral smelling after eating mostly fruit + veg. I think if I’m going to use UT I’ll only be doing it during times when I’m taking a break from meat.

I’ve tried vegetarian longer term and it didn’t work for me, I felt very ungrounded, but it’s fine for short stretches. This conversation is definitely making me rethink diet though. Intuitively it feels like fruit and veg as the majority of what I eat is best, with small amounts of animal protein once in a while.

Thanks so much, Kev…I really appreciate your wisdom here. I also definitely notice the strong odor after eating meat as well, and it tends to go away with subsequent urinations, as you say. Seems like it’s just an opportunity to develop a relationship with getting to know my own fluids better, using my intuition, all the good things.

That’s super cool Todd, can you share more about these Biogeometry techniques? Would love to know how to do that.

Thanks so much illia, looking forward to checking this out. And a good reminder to check my vision now before trying anything so I can gauge progress.

Thanks so much Todd, I’ll definitely check the other thread. And I appreciate you sharing about the patching and what you’ve tried 🙏 Lots more wisdom for me to dive into.

It’s interesting about your experience with the urine drops; it definitely stings when I put them in and I’m kind of on the fence about whether to continue. In The Golden Fountain by van der Kroon he advises urine therapy with a vegetarian diet, refraining from meat and dairy (as it makes the urine acidic which is not helpful to ingest). I am not vegetarian so need to do more research here, will probably ask this q in the urine therapy thread.

Oh wow, thanks Hulda for chiming in. I’m glad you have these tools, and I’ll look into them as well – I have just started with the urine therapy drops (only on day three), this is all new for me and I just posted in Yerasimos’s group at the beginning of this week.

It’ll take some time for me to go through all of the resources and decide what I want to add; I’ll keep you posted in this thread.

Your mention of the castor oil reminded me that one of the women recommended mixing castor oil and pearl powder and using that over the eyelids. She recommends using a thick layer and sleeping with it on.

That reminded me of Sun Potion’s pearl powder I used last year for a bit (I used to add to smoothies) so may purchase some of that again to try this way.
