Hello everyone, great to see this group! Unfortunately (or fortunately), I have no interest in Facebook or any of the other social media platforms, so I can’t check out that group. I’ve had a few recent dating adventures that have really made me want to find a group like this. I was recently with someone and after a few weeks and several conversations, I made what I thought was a pretty innocuous comment, only to have my date go into a rant about current affairs, that, without going into details, was diametrically opposed to everything I believe. It was almost comical. I’m pretty sure I just sat there with my mouth open for about 5 minutes. I didn’t bother to even comment. I had really started to believe that no one could possibly be that snowed over after the last few years, but there she was! Needless to say, that couldn’t end soon enough.
Anyway, I’m not sure how many actual dates will come of this, but it’s nice to at least be a part of a group of like-minded people.
