Is a bone spur similar to calcium deposit bumps on upper finger joints?

I’ve developed several over the years. I’ve always worked with my hands, and the worst one is on my right index finger where scissors hit. Also poor magnesium absorption? How to remedy this and reduce them? No pain, but I’m self conscious of their appearance. 😖

The way back would be better. I get trip prep anxious and want to be as chill as possible in the morning before I leave. Packing is a least favorite activity for me, up there with getting a duvet in the cover. 😆

Have to time my driving right for when I want to be back here. Should work out perfectly. Would love to meet and wander. Conifer and pine trees are still challenging to identify. Getting better though. And have my pretty trusty plant ID app.

I got connected with Mara and I’ll be heading to their farm for tomorrow night. Maybe for the way back too.

    Hi Kev

    Are you going to M&S?

I’m heading south Monday. Waiting to gear back from Mara to stay night one of preferred two overnights on way to the event, will be somewhat in your area on way down and back. Would be fun to meet! 🌿🍄🌞

Harvested LOTS of White Pine last week from trimmed tree here. Even got some Pine pollen out of it! Drying the needles. Grinding some to fine powder. Tincturing a few varieties. Making cold infusion with various fresh tips overnight into morning sun. 🌞

Was helping thin out the back )at the dude’s house who I help out with his herbal biz) area where they just tossed some seeds. LOTS of Shepard’s Purse growing wild all over. Guess I’ll just dry it in a bag in my closet. Any thoughts? Haven’t a way to preserve it using it fresh. Or if I have much use for it.

    Edible too.

Processed the Pineapple weed/Wild Chamomile today that I gathered yesterday. Tinctured some and dehydrating some.

Plenty still growing for more dried if I want. I love how it looks like mini forests!

Usually I’m reaching high for these so I never noticed before that the red Salmonberries have exquisite dark red crowns; or cool punk rock stylin’. 😆

Salal in blossom here like little white bells. LOTS in The Magnificent Forest a few blocks away from me.

Also when I dry larger amounts in paper grocery bags, I don’t overpack it, and toss plant material around every couple days. Keep it loose. I keep it in a closet, flat down, open on end. Closet open a bit for air circulation.

    Hi

Thinking I would like to stop by you first night. Not so far but preferring to do a two night trip there to arrive Wednesday day instead of late Thursday and a harder time finding and setting up tent site. Where to communicate besides here? Finding it not easy to navigate here. Thanks!

Not sure. But if it turned brown maybe degradation of properties. Looks like it. Too high heat I guess. Do a tea taste test for flavor. Even the scent, or lack there of, of the dried indicates potency. I dry my Lemon Balm in paper bags as I do with Nettles and most more delicate leaf herbs.

That sounds great! I’d love to. Will be passing through on the way to and back from Music & Sky. May stay 1st night at the couple here who offered you to visit. Offered me as well. Depends on if I do a one or two night road trip to the event in the Mendocino area.

😬Yes, Salmonberry. The light orange variety are more common. They grow side by side though.

I knew Portlandia is even worse than Seattle.😆 Going along with the gender bs has gotta be the final nail in the coffin of the fraudulent medical system.

A doctor refused to see me this past January. My insurance changed and when I called to make an appointment with a doctor that happened to have a cancellation that afternoon instead of over a month out for new patients by any doctor, that was even taking any, I checked their muzzle policy and was told it’s optional. I hadn’t noticed a sign on the door stating otherwise when I entered the building.

At the reception all the receptionists were happily muzzled behind their humongous computer screens which faced back to any potentially “infectious” patient. That’s in addition to the plexiglass psychological abuse barriers with a sign requesting to speak where the barrier is, not at the opening. 🤣 And the face diaper requirement. I was asked to put one on and I refused saying I can’t and don’t wear those. I called and was told it’s optional, and had not seen the sign on the door.

I was called right away and taken back to the examination room by the assistant. She tried to get me to wear one too. I refused again but she didn’t push it.

She asked me what my preferred pharmacy is and I said none. Then she asked me where I get my medications from, which I had already said, I do not take any. I told her from the forest. THEN the doctor came in with her pink face diaper on. Same muzzle drill, but very persistent asking me if I brought one with me if I don’t want to inhale the microplastics in their blue ones as I stated. I said no, I don’t wear ANY of them. She outright and rudely refused to see me. I left, stating (to the stunning black doctor who could be a model easily) that it’s discrimination, and probably illegal to refuse treatment. Mind you I wasn’t even sick per se. I had been having knee issues and wanted to get more information on what may be the cause, with imaging perhaps, to better care for them MYSELF as I’ve been doing with decent success compared to the start of it. What happens when someone comes in with a sore throat?!!! They can’t be examined with their face covered.

Naturally, AFTERWARDS I later thought of asking her that and how if her diaper protects her from me, and me from her, why would I also need one? I consider these to be the most successful PLACEBO devices ever thought of by those desiring to manufacture fear and divisiveness among us. At least now it is obvious who stands where, and who is willing to take a stand.

It’s all always been a test of CHARACTER.

I saw a video once of a boy folding a leaf up with the stinging side inside and chewing it well and eating it. I do this with the seed clusters sometimes putting them between molars. Have missed and gotten some minor tongue stings but the masticated Nettle juice neutralizes their sting!

I have always heard that all of the Dandelion plant is edible. Just a matter of taste and texture preferences.
