    Welcome Gary & Nancy!

I got the Blueshield cube 4 or 5 years ago. I’ve detected no benefit, not in sleep, humming in head, tooth/gum pain, back pain or anything else. Maybe I’m “doing” it wrong? Dunno.

I’ve had moderate success using dowsing and a vortex tool for some pain. But I feel I haven’t applied myself sufficiently thereto. On the todo list.

    Good luck!

Wow, that’s intense, Divya! I can only share my own hair loss experience from a few years back when I was eating a lot of carbs (I’d call it “mainlining”). Have you looked at your diet?

Elin, the link you provide is for paid members, which I’m not. Here’s a link to the free (1st hour?):

A very timely post for me, Leigh-Anne. I have a similar condition as you, only it’s my right eye (which most of my life has been the stronger) that’s blurry – no matter how close or far I hold the book. It doesn’t focus properly while reading elsewise, like a screen or book.

Been using the AquaCure goggles for a couple weeks, also the protocol from my Acupressure for the Eyes workshop, castor oil on eyelids, eyelashes and eyebrows for a week or two. So far no discernable improvement, but it may be way too soon.

How long did it take you to “see” a benefit, using what method(s)?

Laurie, according to Chinese medicine, in general the skin is governed by Lung. But itching is a sign of Heat and can be (is?) a sign that Liver can’t detox through it’s internal routes, so out the skin it goes. There are such conditions. as Liver Heat or Liver Fire, Liver Fire Rising. You may be able to orient yourself about these terms at YinYangHouse.com. There you can search for “itchy skin”, “liver heat” etc.

I believe there are some acupuncturists on the platform here who may be able to point you in a more concrete direction. As for me, I’m an acupressurist, going on 23 years.

Swelling is of course nature’s way of splinting, so reduce it with caution. Cold for reducing swelling, heat for furthering healing. Too much cold can retard circulation, which is how nature heals. First cold then heat is a rule of thumb.

As I recall, Barre mentioned (in an Exec Coop meeting?) that he goes to Dr. Robert Grove in Santa Rosa, who’s actually an endodontist, but he sees Barre for general dentistry.

I’ve seen him too, for root canals.

Mary, Acupressure.com is the website of Michael Reed Gach, the founder of The Acupressure Institute in Berkeley, where I got my training and the bulk of my certifications. Michael taught the 1st 2 classes I took there. He moved to Maui perhaps 20 years ago. He was a pioneer in bringing acupressure “to the masses”. He sold the school to the deputy director of the school around 2008. At the end of 2013 it closed its doors after some 30 years in existence, crunched by the aftermath of the 2008 “crash”, as well as, so the rumormill sez, poor management.

I was a student at the Acupressure Institute from 2001-2013, a teacher’s assistant for one of the school’s senior instructors from about 2009 to the end, and after the school’s closing when she taught at the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Science in Oakland and Five Branches University in San Jose. Ah, those were the days!

I can’t link to individual songs on my (free) songpage at Solari. Lemme know if my file upload worked. Did you want anything else besides FireCider? Thanks for the nudge, Ari

Thanks for the reminder on the prior Bates discussion, Todd. Meir Schneider (born in Poland, has had a self-healing center in San Francisco for many years) improved his congenital functional blindness using Bates’ method(s) and some of his own. He now has an unrestricted California driver’s license (not that I’m promoting driver’s licenses LOL) – no glasses required. He sez the more one wears glasses, the weaker the eyes. Haven’t we all noticed that? He also promotes using an eye patch over the stronger eye. Been trying it off n on for a few weeks, but my formerly stronger eye is so week that I can barely read anything with it. 🙁

Regarding my Acupressure for the Eyes protocol, after using it consistently for a couple of weeks a few years ago, my floaters noticeably diminished. They’ve returned in full force – haven’t kept up the self-treatment. But I’m back at it now! If there’s interest, perhaps I could do a Zoom of it, though it’s really a hands-on workshop. I shared it with one or two folks at Music & Sky.

Yes I know Joey, uh Joseph while he was director of the school. Took a class with him too. I knew all the characters there. Where do you know Joey from?
