I agree with Abram here! Don’t create controversy where none exists. If they call you, deal with it then. I’d say the best way to deal with it, is to remember that we are not the dead entities with the CAPITAL NAMES in the world of the dead that they are looking for. We should not respond to those summons. We are living men and women, and we respond thusly. Definitely do answer them though, silence is consent to the necromancers after all!

To add to that, maybe jury duty might not be so bad, depending on the case. You MIGHT even be able to convince your fellow men and women to uphold real law ?

I’m in! I’ve been slowly working my way through part 2, I’m not quite done it yet. But a study group sounds fantastic!

Like Barre said, and I agree, I think the time for these kinds of things (SC’s and other various “legal” things) is coming to an end. The system they’ve built is crumbling and whatever is built from the ashes, whatever we create, won’t have room for such legalese silliness. Because let’s face it, they are definitely NOT going to get away with their new agenda.

The time has now come to remove ourselves from the system, and move our businesses and lives back to the private. I realize for a lot of people that’s not cut and dry simple! Many of us still have so much bound up in the Public. For me, I had nothing Public, save for a credit card. Moving my business and life into the Private was simple. I’m still learning to navigate certain things, and yes I do use certain public services still, but for the most part STEVEN MCCORMICK is nearly non existent.

I don’t mean to dump on any strategies people are trying, or anything anyone has presented here! I just have to wonder how much of it is worth trying during this endgame.

I wanted to thank you guys for bringing Sovereign’s Way to my attention. I had been mulling over the idea of “ists and isms”, labels, categories, and identity for many years, and that course was the final push that helped me break through the crust and into the core. So simple, yet so profound. Thank you kindly for that.

THAT being said, I most certainly will need a website built once I’ve gotten a little more clear on my direction! What do you charge for that? Feel free to drop a message if you don’t want to put that info out in a comment

If I had to venture a guess I’d say a rationalist! I’m not well versed in “ists” and “isms”, so hopefully I got the right word haha. He made an argument for the existence of God as the source of All, using rational arguments. To me at least, it seemed he had the same idea of God as the hermetics, but without the occulted esoterics.

I’d say you should check out “The Ethics”!

Ah perhaps you did, I find it difficult to keep up with all the discussions being had on this platform!

Ok, so like a bbq or a smoker? I was leaning towards a portable camping stove with a hood on it myself, that way if the neighbours have any complaints about the smoke I can always take off into the woods for a few days and do my calcining

Yeah I’d say that would be considered rock! It has a very “Indy Rock” feel, sounds very similar to Awolnation. Although these guys are a bit more on the “Pop” spectrum than what you posted lol

Dude! The Republic and the Philosopher King concept totally come to my mind whenever I think about this question. Good call!

I agree with Percival here, that we need to master ourselves before we can ever delegate any collective power to an authority(Assuming of course, that any fully self sufficient person would want to). Assumedly, the philosopher king would be so enlightened that he could be an impartial, compassionate and fair leader. But is that enough? Doth not the people require a certain level of self mastery too? If they don’t have any, or too little, I feel like no matter how enlightened the king may be, he’d have to resort to some kind of violence against those who refused to follow his will, even if the king was correct in his beliefs. And the people would likely still be tempted to want to use the power of the state against those they disagree with. So, I think in the end the people need the same education in how to think that the philosopher king is getting, because in order for a society to avoid violence and civil strife, they need to be able to agree on guiding principles for their society

This is the kind of thing I think about when thinking of voluntary societies. For a society to be truly voluntary, they would have to willingly organize with each other. What do they organize around? The principle of freedom? The idea of equality? Mutualism? Are those kind of abstracts enough to keep a community glued together, or does it require (at least in part) a physical manifestation of the king energy to embody those principles?

Definitely re-read it! It’s been a few years since I’ve read it myself, but I found it fascinating. Plato’s description of Justice that he lays out in that book is still my preferred definition to this day
