StevenMemberI was out by the river today foraging for stinging nettle, I also found some red osier dogwood, plenty of wild rose, and some cow parsnip!

StevenMemberI actually JUST finished reading that section! It makes so much sense when you think about how me take in simple nutrients from the earth and transform them into usable units in our bodies. Like a proper Alchemical action we exalt everything we touch and raise it into a higher conciousness
I’m looking forward to the study group! I’ve got a ton of thoughts I’d like to bounce off everyone

StevenMemberJust finished it, and it was great!

StevenMemberHey @ew I know how you feel with the idea that people may find you annoying. It’s a problem I’ve wrestled with myself many a time in the past. However, I think this is among the last places you should have to worry about that! We’re all here to learn and share and grow and there’s nothing at all wrong being the being the inquisitive, positive person that you are, so keep being you! Don’t let that little voice in your head tell you otherwise. I had to tell my little voice to take a hike too lol. I appreciate the things you share, I’m not on here enough to keep up with everything you share unfortunately. I work on the computer so I do my best to stay away from it when I’m not working. But I do eventually see it all! I do need to remember to drop a like at least when I read people’s posts Haha. Anyway, I didnt have a suggestion for the site. I just saw Eliza’s comment and had to throw in my 2 cents.

StevenMemberTheres the thing with jurisdiction! If the necromancers summon a DEAD ENTITY, and you show up, that’s thier jurisdiction. They’ve got ya! Not to say you can’t flip thier jurisdiction once you’re there, but its infinitely harder than just not giving it to them in the first place. Living men and women dont have obligations to the state, or to anyone else that we dont willingly agree to. Only a corporate entity has duties and obligations. You dont have to serve them anything, and a legal fiction court certainly isnt serving your fellow men and women.
That being said, I am rather interested to see how they would respond to the crazy rantings of a “flat earth lunatic”! Lol!

StevenMember<div>I have the version of this book for my locale (Northern BC) and I definitely go back to it more often than the others I have! Check it out</div>

StevenMemberWell, you’re sort of right! The winters here get to be -40c some days, and the growing season is short, it’s only warm from mid June to October. But once summer hits, it’s very muggy. So it does sound like you fare better than we do. I like the remote-ness up here. Very small towns about an hour or so apart, very little police or government presence. As for the banner pic, yeah, it’s like that here haha! Nothing but mountains, forest and lakes. Beautiful.
Holy! that sounds like quite the ordeal. I’m glad you seem to be on the other side of it at least. I didn’t know about that aspect of Tea Tree oil, I use it for cleaning or as a shampoo ingredient. I’ll definitely keep that in mind
Prickly ash you say? We have Mountain Ash here, I wonder if the properties are similar. I’ll have to look it up. Oh if you like that feel, do you guys have any Aspen down there? The most common tree here is Quaking Aspen, which is can be used to make a mild pain killer tincture. You have to mix it with some water or tea to take it because it’s got a weird mouth feel just on it’s own!

StevenMemberGlad to hear you’ve been out in the woods! A reset is something we all need.
Ah I just might have some recommendations! What area of the world do you live on?
-
StevenMemberAh it’ll be a while before the Thistles bloom here! Everything just finally started greening up. Nettles are the first thing that starts popping up in my area, so I got to know them really good. And not just because of the sting! lol
Oh really? Full paralysis eh? What kind of injury does that? Oh ok, interesting, I had never heard that the Cowsnip does that! I’ll have to look at making a salve out of it then. Might be very useful in the future. Yes! I live in northern BC, nothing but forest and mountains as far as you can see. You said New Mexico was years ago, where do ye be these days?
A couple little dried up ones maybe, they get picked pretty clean by the wildlife here. I do plan to harvest a little more than normal this year though, I’d like to try making rosebud syrup. Ah the Osier is good for lots of things! The bark and root are Astringent, tonic, analgesic. A Decoction is good for colds, and the bark can be used for skin ailments. I’ve never used it personally, but I’ve dedicated a few pages to it in my notebook

StevenMemberHaha I’m trying buddy! It’s a very dense book. But it’s been very rewarding. Its already helped me turn a few things in life around

StevenMemberHi Jill! I dont know if this helps at all, but so far I’ve been finding that the concepts Percival is presenting are more or less the same concepts that the various spiritual teachings of the ages have been telling us about, it’s just that he managed to peek behind the curtain and get a look at the workshop haha. Just a much more technical explanation of many things I’ve read before. It’s been mind bending so far, but that thought helps me from wandering too far off the path 🙂

StevenMemberHaha I always wondered if those types of dudes really existed! To have your own throne though… that’s pretty outrageous. Sounds like you’ve lived quite the interesting life good sir!

StevenMemberI agree completely! There’s a time and place for bombs and that’s usually by the fire with a few friends haha. In public discourse, civility is key. I’ve always been of the opinion that swearing happens more when people are unable to find anything else to say. Like when writing lyrics, I’ve always been more interested in lyricists who can put down an entire song without resorting to cursing (This is hilarious considering I’m really into death metal?) It’s definitely correlated with a lower vibration!

StevenMemberIt’s an absolute tragedy that society beats those happy qualities out of us, then replaces it with those mean little condescending voices! Then we have to re-learn how to be our original selves and boy, is that a struggle ? I’m glad everyone here is on that same path, and no matter how far along each person is, they’re all so accomodating to those who haven’t quite gotten there yet. it’s awesome! Hahaha yeah I know what you mean with the cursing. I spent so many years in the trades, I’ve developed quite the foul mouth. For whatever reason though, I don’t feel the need to drop those bombs here. Not sure what it is that makes me not do it?
