I think AI as a tool can be quite handy and has a ton of great use cases such as handling menial data tasks that humans have historically have had to do (accounting, inventory management, database collation, etc) but like any technology, needs human oversight and ethical systems of use to ensure it isn’t being used to trespass against others. I don’t think the issue here is an AI issue but more of a privacy & security issue. AI can only scope out what it is given access to so it still comes down to human agency to provide the security of the system and so I don’t think we have an AI issue to worry about at all (AI isn’t inherently intelligent as it relies on our natural intelligence to provide its ability to think) but, as usual, a human issue.

I would say yes, most def give it to her! I give my hens our brown’s gas and hydrogen water in their water tank as well and it seems to really help with their overall health and egg production…

Hey Matia! Very cool you are into this form of musical expression! I have been a professional DJ for 25 years and am still playing out at freedom festivals (I am in fact playing tomorrow night here in North Carolina to close out this ‘Sustain Me’ event). DJing is maybe my favorite thing to do for others and it has taken me a long time to really get to this place where I feel confident that I can deliver a great dancefloor experience every time I play. I am eclectic in taste but prefer the deeper, groovier melodic beats of house music. However, I can play anything thanks to my years of experience playing bars and clubs in LA and Santa Barbara.

I would recommend getting your feet wet by playing gigs whenever you can, no matter the size or pay. I started in college playing free house parties and underground full moon mountain raves. That scene in the late 90s was totally different from today. It was super raw and non-commercialized whereas now, the entire scene has been co-opted into manistream corporate commercialism. But there is still ample opportunity to find your community that is authentic and there for the right reason. I have been stoked to find them through Music & Sky and love playing these events where people are healthy and tapped into their heart without the need for psychedelics or party drugs. If this is something that attracts you, let me know and I can see about setting you up with a scene by you.

You can hear more of my mixes on my Soundcloud here!

Drank my pee every morning during this recent week in Mexico and never got even a smidgeon of sickness or an iffy feeling (others did)… I also noticed the coconut flavoring from all the coconut creme drinks I had every day which was nice 😃

Picked up this beautiful book at a hip (and kinda woke) little book store in Sisters, Oregon this weekend. Excited to expand my foraging knowledge this year for the trail!

I would start small with easy goals and work from there but I think water fasting is most ideal. Even just try a 2 day water fast to start! I will be doing a urine fast in a couple weeks to get ready for Anarchapulco but I know that is a little next level haha

Yes a stupid AI program messed up our initial home loan last year by misinterpreting data we sent in, resulting in an improper credit rating and thus a higher rate than we should have. It took us humans to catch the error and fix it. Human oversight can never go away and so if we fall into believing AI doesn’t need us to check its performance, then we are indeed in trouble.

for sure! the only downside to this book is that it is UK-based but I like that it goes month by month which at least gives one here an idea of what to look for that is similar…

I’ve heard of it working wonders! I have used my urine for ‘infections’ and it works every time.

Pretty sure this is Mike’s first interview. He’s been to Music & Sky and I’ve worked with him on projects for years so I know him well personally, great guy! I listened to this on my trail run today and really enjoyed it! I am actually planning on doing a urine fast before I head to Mexico for Anarchapulco and will be mostly drinking my pee while there.

We did do a shivambu Alfacast with Erik Casano awhile back!
