Hi, how do I start a group? And perhaps I need to first clarify: are members allowed to start new groups?

Read my earlier reply, and I’ll make the group happen … just specify how you’d like it titled along with a brief mission statement.

Hi Barre, just seeing this post and want to clarify about the group that you’re offering to support: is it a group where those of us living in the midst of Nature and moving towards being off-grid get to discuss with you how the AV prototype can grow and be expressed on our farms as well? Or is it a discussion of the different resources that we have amongst our various farms and members so that we can collaborate? Both ideas sound great to me, and I’m happy to send you a title and mission statement for one or both. And if I’m missing something, please let me know!

Yes any user should be able to create a group. You just need to go to the Group directory page and select the Create a Group link up top by All Groups and My Groups. Let us know if you still can’t access this!
