Sin Against the Holy Spirit

    I’ve read where many often wonder what this might be (Sin against the Holy Spirit/Ghost) and so have I. I just found a reference to it in a book Dr. Lando recommended on Cell Salts. It gives me one idea, at least. Writings from the 1930s are a bit different from today as you can see below.

    It is discussing Mercury (as in mind and sensory nerves), that Mercury stands for merchandise, wares, or goods, utilized in commerce or exchange by the mind in the body. Mercury as the father of merchants and thieves being the same as above. Mind, the father of thought, can actually rob the body by becoming the prodigal son as the Bible states, and wasting its substance or merchandise in riotous living.

    The brain esse and thought power or electricity constitute the true merchandise of every human body and the great work is to perfect it so that it will be able to attract the highest form of ether (Akasha) into the body. We become thieves when we make no effort to do this, stealing not only from ourselves, but from others as well. To rob another or one’s self of this most precious merchandise is truly the sin against the Holy Ghost.

    it’s from page 66 of The Zodiac and The Salts of Salvation-Both Parts-Complete and Unabridged by George W. Carey and Inez Eudora Perry. First published in 1932. You will find publications of just Part 1 or 2, try to get both in the same book. My version is over 250 pages.

    There is more of course, but I decided not to transcribe the whole book here, lol!
    I bought it on Dr Lando’s recommendation, tried reading a section on my zodiac sign, cell salts and just couldn’t get into it a few months ago. Then, yesterday I picked it up, it all just flowed and I couldn’t put it down. Carey ties in Astrology, cell salts, the Bible, and all the myths/stories of the ages, as well as the meaning of so many words and sayings that we all have heard, but not truly innerstood.

    As they say, when the student is ready, the teacher will come. I guess I wasn’t ready until yesterday. Thank you, @barre for sharing and Happy 4th to everyone!

      It’s pretty deep but quite good. Goes into Greek, Roman myths. Latin and Greek meaning of words and sayings used for years and ties all that in with Astrology and the cell salts. And, written all those years ago. I got into it so much this week that I ordered his other book (hard to find), lol!

    I love this share! I bought the book after seeing it recommended in a recent Alfacast and have only skimmed through a bit of the Leo section in reference to my baby boy’s sign. I definitely need to dig back into it!
