The first comment to the article made a lot of sense. Also, still having a billion people is a lot! Trying to figure out how the tariff war might factor into this also. Be careful about this one, I for one am not ready to call it true.

Saw a video today about the border since the election, how the political elite and businesses were the driving factors behind the border rush, as most of the illegals were able to find work that Americans won’t take. MAGA was incited by the tiny minority of criminals that came in. The cartels ran the show, but they are run by Washington and Wall Street. Anyway, this is a way of dealing with our declining workforce due to the war on children (vaccines, autism, pediatrician monsters) and workers (caring for same, and vaccine murder and the rest of the soft war on the population via abortion, alphabet couples, food, chemicals, medikill industry, edjukashun, etc.). Enough rambling.

I think there are two layers here. One: lack of population growth and a slow decline in nations’ populations and world population is one thing. I think most well- informed people are aware of this pattern, and the intentional, interlocking causes that you mention. This article suggests something of a different nature, a dramatic and rapid population crash which is a whole ‘nother thing. In my opinion. If this characterization is correct, that could only be explained by a precipitous event. Otherwise, it is just a bunch of exaggerated hooey- I’m definitely open to that possibility!
