Love makes the heart swell
Goosebumps all atingle
Kindred souls, known each before
Many lives in the eons of time.
Zeta waves and gamma rays
Jabbawockies in a dance.
Beta waves and delta rays
Compound the love we share.
Kindness is my way.
Overt, or covert, the caring of expression.
Proper ways do not interest me.
So many minds trapped in prison.
Tingles of the skin, and swells of the heart, yet
So many minds wrapped in a program.
Vote for you enslavement, as
Youth have Creation beat from their bodies.
Angst may serve a purpose.
Doesn’t the anxiety grow?
Elephants mourn their dead by day..
How the reductionists fail to see.
In the core of love’s expression,
Mighty oaks to mighty seeds
Quarks from universes unfolding
Radiant light not all that we feel.
Where do the rivers flow?
Not all humans can venture.
Patent protections and profit so profane.
Take me on your ships, I need to see.
Sadness enveloped me for oh so long
Love I thought I never found.
