    Hi!

I’m about to take SS, and the information I’ve gotten from Weiss+, Joe Lusty, and KL (via Crrow777) is that I can take it and not be recontracted as a US Taxpayer. I’m in a conversation about this in another group and someone there says that they will garnish SS. Which resources can I refer to for clarity on this? Is anyone here on SS after the ROE? thanks so much!

oops I see I’ve duplicated my question here – how do I delete this post? I’m not seeing where to find that option…. thanks!

All of this is quite new to me, but I am curious how or if it works for those who wish to “follow this sort of path”, but are currently receiving social security? I’ve read a bit and attending a few webinars, but still a newbie. I realize there is all this discussion of how social security will be limited or run out so to speak in the 2030s. Anyone have anything to share on that? I am curious for those I know on it now.

As far as Social Security “running out” in the 2030’s, “they” have been “predicting” that for decades. Wasn’t that a mantra under Ray-Gun? Oh, look here:

? Yep, they have! I’ve seen recent news articles along the same lines. I forgot it went back to Reagan.
Any thoughts on how receiving SS payments works with all of the changes mentioned in these discussions? Or does it make a difference at all?

          No idea.

“My” Social Security is lower than Medicare costs, so they have me paying $3-4-500 per year to “meet” the premium. Stopped doing that a couple of years ago.

Hey, Mary, I looked in to a bit further with the Joe Lustica site and went back to my notes from my call with Weiss + – it’s no problem doing the ROE and taking SS. Lots to learn about this process, especially since it involves knowing who you are and how you are called to interact and/or cancel contracts. If SS is your only income, I’m pretty sure you don’t need to file anyway, and might not need to do the Revocation, but double check your specific situation with the IRS rules. Whee!

p.s. I don’t think SS will “run out” either, but they might fold it into some sort of UBI, and possibly put unacceptable requirements for continuing to receive it, so I’m aggressively investing and probably starting an online biz (all within my religious trusts) to make sure I have assets and income enough that I can tell them to keep their $ if I have to… LOL

Thanks to both of you. Jeez, to have to pay in for Medicare and not receive any income from SS would be pretty frustrating. Yes, I’m not there yet, but thinking and looking ahead. Appreciate the information from both of you!

What’s frustrating is having a percentage of my Social Security deducted because I receive a pension as a retired teacher. To prevent “double dipping”. As if I hadn’t paid into SSI. But I’m on a path of disentanglement from the worldwide sticky web, so it’s not really frustrating.
