Hello all – I am seeking any thoughts on how people have handled the birth process and social security numbers etc for their children. I have been researching and working on many aspects of sovereignty, but am still in the process of taking steps to more completely extricate our family from the system. That said, we will still be begrudgingly filing an income tax return this year. We plan to change that in the future. One of us still has a foot in the large corporate paycheck world. We have learned a lot since our son was born almost 7 years ago – he has a SSN and birth certificate. Our daughter was born last October – she has a birth certificate, but no SSN yet.

My question is, if we get her a social security number, are we making it more challenging down the road for her and us to extricate from the system? Is there something that I am missing for those of you who are farther down the path? I can lessen the theft on this year’s return by $2,000 due to the tax credit available. We will already need to manage the public/private aspects of our life individually and as a family (with all of the previous entries into the system), so I’m not sure that her having or not having a number really changes much for her and us – as obviously she is not her number and we will try to help her know who and what she is as she grows up. On principle, we don’t want to get her a number, but we also would like to lessen the theft and use the 2k for something more beautiful. Thank you all for any thoughts

I’ve looked into this kind of stuff at length and my simple minded way of looking at this is, if you don’t have kids, have a lot of time, live off the grid, don’t have a W4/W2, don’t have capital gains, don’t need access to credit to say buy a house, then escapism might be a good way to go. One day when I retire and our son has become an adult, I will look at this again. Not saying there aren’t little things that we can’t do just to be more outside the matrix, but complete escapism is not a realistic option for me.

There is a mafia that runs the world, and if you need access to certain things inside their world, and you don’t have access to alternatives now, then you need to pay the mafia tax, and follow the unconstitutional mafia rules like SSNs and birth certificates. If there is someone out there with a day job, a mortgage, capital gains, with no SSN and no BC then please correct me.

I used to get so frustrated when I heard so called freedom/truthers going around making blanket statements like ‘stop paying taxes’, ‘stop doing this/that’, ‘F the system’. I wanted more nuanced information from a realistic honest viewpoint from someone like me, but that has been hard to find.

Anyway, not sure this is helpful to your situation, but maybe this gives a different perspective than some in the so called sovereign community (which I am in as well I guess but sometimes labels get strange). I think its great you are seeking ways to help your children. Only you can know whats best for your family. Sounds like you are kind to your children and family, but remember to be kind to yourself as well.

Thank you Dave – I really appreciate your thoughtful response. It is challenging once you are aware of the fraud to continue to participate in it in any way, but also have to be realistic as to the time and place and system that exists around us. If it was just me solo I would’ve wandered out to the woods years ago and worked through whatever inconveniences that meant, but I am truly fortunate enough to have a family around me on the journey which totally changes the considerations. We have shrunk our footprint in the system as far as I can figure out how to so far, but still definitely have a foot in their world. It is really helpful to hear individual stories on what actions have been taken and how it has worked out. The anecdotes in the law fare circles tend to be very short on details, and I guess that’s somewhat understandable since none of us usually knows who we are actually talking to online and no one wants to wander into another bear trap. I really appreciate this forum when people share what they’ve done and what they are trying and documents etc.

I know it’s all an individual journey, and hopefully we can all keep putting little cracks into the system and put energy towards the alternatives. It’s so encouraging to see the number of people who have become aware of the massive fraud and artificial chute that was built. I signed up for Greg Paul’s new course, so I’m curious what I learn from that, and I think Marcia Ann’s I am the living law approach is the real deal – especially if you have your own business, but I definitely have more to learn. In the meantime, I will continue to minimize the theft and try to avoid loading our kids into the chute. They can each choose their path someday, but hopefully we can at least help them to know what they are choosing. Thanks again – I really appreciate the support!
