Oh my god, this is a gorgeous photo of your woods.. If you don’t mind, I just downloaded it and made it the wallpaper on my laptop.. It’s that inspiring!.. ?

Where was I when I received this invitation??.. Sitting at my homemade computer desk, logging on for the first time, after having planted some miniature container gardens on my balcony, and while waiting for dinner to bake up.. It was a lovely morning, involving tea blended with butter and cream, Tibetan-style.. ?

And oh, do I have some stuff to share with this group!.. ?

I think I had just returned from the farmers’ market and was unloading everything. We are so fortunate to have a 12 month market here with amazing farmers coming from near the foothills of the Appalachian mountains. I spent a while washing and storing all the vegetables. Counting my blessings! I don’t have much space to grow here, but I can support some wonderful hard-working folk that help support my body, mind, and soul! ?‍??‍?

It’s almost 2.30am and I came across this group as I was scrolling through the groups to post something in The Library. I love this time as everything’s so still and peaceful so I’ve been sitting here by the fire reading with my cat. A lovely idea for a group and it’s lovely to have a little peek into everyone’s everyday lives on this thread. And @GiseleH I live near a river Humber too but in the UK.

lovely to hear that there is a humber river in UK. if you can give me a pointer where approx in UK i will be heading to england, attending ageless wisdom seminar at Hawkwood college in May in Stroud, Cotswold . will also be in London and in Kent. I came across this thread while sitting at my homemade desk contemplating eating some special mushrooms today.

I don’t do phone stuff in my forest outings except to take photos. If I bring it at all, just for that reason. And when I don’t I often miss an amazing shot. Like last week when two Cormorants were standing on part of a submerged fallen tree at the lake and made perfect reflections below them! Dang.

Hi Sarah, I try to leave my phone at home as much as I can, too. Don’t laugh…I had to search for what Cormorants are. It didn’t sound like a mushroom, but I wasn’t sure, lol!
