At first I thought, well that’s a massive explosion about to happen.. Lol.. But it appears the resulting fuel isn’t as explosive as gasoline, and surely you could refine the set-up so it’s not so sketchy.. And hey, if you get stuck with a stockpile of plastic, here ya go.. 🙂

Using Compost to Heat Water.. This guy uses his compost pile to heat a barrel of water buried within the pile, and then can drain the water out when it’s hot enough for whatever usage.. Metric to imperial conversions: 100 liters=26 gallons.. 60.8 degrees C=141 F.. 65 C=149 F.. 41.2 C=106 F.. That’s a good hot temp just from compost..

Using Compost to Heat an Interior Space.. This is so good and so simple.. In this case, the guy didn’t even use a typical compost pile of various vegetative materials.. Instead, this is just a big pile of hay with water pipes buried in it.. One way I would do this differently is definitely not lay the pipes directly on the ground (as the ground will pull heat away from the water in the pipes).. I’d bury the pipes in the middle of the pile.. He then pumps the water through pipes in the floor of his workshop to provide radiant heat.. I lived in a place with radiant heat (water pipes inside a concrete floor and connected to a water heater), and it’s a highly effective heating method..

    Metric to imperial conversations: Temperature outside dips to -20 degrees C= -4 F.. 38 C=100 F..

I’ve had my eyes peeled for the demonstration of a motor/turbine driven exclusively by magnets.. I’ve seen a few ideas, but not sure they’re viable, nor had time to focus on it.. But I wonder if this is the one.. potential for electrical generation here, if this design keeps the spin going..

A YT short.. Homemade electrical generator, using sunlight focused with mirrors onto a phototransistor inside a gutted light bulb.. One question I have: is the light bulb merely used to focus the sunlight onto the transistor?.. Looks that way..
