Hey all! I wanted to bring up this topic for discussion. I have been dealing with various levels of tinnitus for well over 10 years now. It can periodically be completely gone, and just when I think it’s gone, it comes back. In the last 5 years it has been more frequent, and recently like in the last week, has gotten louder and more high pitched. I’ve used homeopathy with some success, and looked at German New Medicine’s biological conflict. I have Dr. Barre’s recent synopsis from GNM regarding its cause. Over the last 5 years “I can’t believe what I just heard” or “I don’t want to hear this” have been a pretty common occurrence. Has anyone else been dealing with this and perhaps we can share insights on what has helped? Many thanks.

You may be hearing the electric power lines or the wifi towers. Here is a real good book on the subject:

The Invisible Rainbow: A History of Electricity and Life Arthur Firstenberg

Here is a quote from the book:
    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
AT&T towers, for example, are therefore presently emitting modulation frequencies of 0.16, 4.25, 8.33, 100, 200, 217, 1000, 1500, 1733, 2,000, 15,000, 33,850, 270,833 and 3,840,000 Hz, plus harmonics of these frequencies and additional harmonics of 15,000 Hz and 200,000 Hz, not to mention the microwave carrier frequencies of 700 MHz, 850 MHz, 1700 MHz, 1900 MHz, and 2100 MHz. Like the proverbial boiled frog, we are all immersed in a giant pot of radiation, whose intensity is increasing, and whose effect, though unperceived, is nevertheless certain.32 Cell phones spend a higher percentage of their energy on their low frequency components than do cell towers33—which may explain the high prevalence of “tinnitus” among cell phone users with otherwise normal hearing. In 2003, at a time when cell phone use was not as universal as it is today, it was still possible to do epidemiological studies of users and non-users. A team of scientists led by Michael Kundi at the Medical University of Vienna, comparing people with and without tinnitus at an ear, nose, and throat clinic, found a greater prevalence of tinnitus—often in both ears—among cell phone users than among non-users, and a clear trend of more tinnitus with increasing intensity of cell phone use.34 The more minutes, the more tinnitus.

Following the thread here ~ there isn’t always a ‘reply’ arrow on the post I wish to follow. So . . . I’ve more recently heard that tinnitus isn’t a ‘hearing’ issue although it’s experienced that way. I have little doubt that electromagnetic/wifi ‘noise’ is a culprit somehow. Also possibly experimenting with the earth’s electromagnetic field, CERN or whatever that is . . . We are electromagnetic beings and more . . .

This is a great insight. I do believe my tinnitus began with an “upgrade” to a cellular device that I was using to run a business around 2013. As Barre said we are no bathed in the proverbial soup daily. Oh how I long to live the barefoot life and have my hands in the soil on a daily basis, as far away from the constant bombardment. That is my ultimate goal. Thanks for the info.

      I just read

      The Dmso Handbook for Doctors

      by Archie H. Scot

found this on page 49. So here it is:

“A number of tinnitus patients were treated with DMSO at a New York City clinic. The treatment consisted of ear drops of 40 percent DMSO deposited in the ear each day. Also, a lotion containing 90 percent DMSO combined with capsicum and aloe vera was applied around each ear twice a day. The ear noises in most cases were reduced almost immediately. Usually the patient was considered cured within one month. The symptoms did not normally come back. If they did, the DMSO treatment was redone, and relief was normally more rapid than during the first treatment.”

Yes I developed it shortly after the Scamdemic. Also around the same time I had lots of dental work done. So digging deep into the root cause.

Ditto here, except mine goes back to 2006 when I had a dental procedure known as onlays or crowns on two of my molars. Knew immediately something was wrong the second he placed them on the living tooth stubs – I’ve had ringing ever since, felt in my head, not the ears; Lost track of everything I’ve tried along the way – craniosacral, accupuncture, binaural beats, herbal/supplements, trigger point, etc. It was interesting I found some articles written by Dr. Gabriel Cousens ~2018-19 regarding Piezoelectricity, and it seemed to come close to the mark as a possible cause for Tinnitus, where matter such as crystals, ceramics, or biological bone accumulate an electrical charge in response to applied stress. Thinking in terms of the old “crystal radios” that were a hobby project at one time. And then, lo and behold, Dr. Cousens became a guest on Alfacast a year or so later! I’ve only had a few brief moments of it not being there (perhaps there is a reason for that) and man those moments were nice, so if anyone does not experience this frequency jam thank your stars!

    Hi Kathy,

I find an important component can be working on the neck and cranium to make sure the sutures and spine are aligned. Cranial compression can affect the ears and cause tinnitus in addition to some of the external irritations people talk about. My tinnitus was caused by head injuries and a cranial Osteopath has helped me with this.

yes that was a part of my theory. dental work messing up the jaw area leading to the formation of it. I was going to try PEMF on jaw area. Sometimes when I bite down to hard on food I hear a high pitched sound.

Hey Josh, I used to have access to wonderful cranial sacral osteopaths while living in Maine. Cranial alignment is an important component often overlooked. Thanks for the reminder.

    Hi all,

Basic question, what are the symptoms of Tinnitus? There are times where it feels a bit like a burning sensation in the inner ear for me. More of a nusiance and not very frequently. Is that Tinnitus?

    Thanks

For me it is a constant ringing in the ear between 5000 and 8000hz. Listening to back ground music helps. I had ear wax build up and had it removed. Was like plugged ears. Another thing that aggravated it was getting water in ears while showering and bathing. Was like swimmers ear.

Hi Dale, who did you go to for earwax removal, and how is this done?

        Thanks in advance.

Had it done at emergency – a big syringe with warm saline solution. Reflecting back and new detox information tells me that ear wax is basically a method of detox to get toxins out of the ear.

Excellent Tinnitis feedback here from everyone. If I put on my Chinese medicine hat I’m going to take a close look at all aspects of Kidney function and suspect a “kidney Jing deficiency” … a quick evaluation of Chinese Pulses and Abdominal dx tells me immediately if that’s the case.

He Shou Wu is considered the best Kidney tonic, and I’ve found that to be very true. I add He Shou Wu to my AV Primal Coffee as it offsets the potential for Adrenal-Kidney stress when using caffeine.

Cranial work is how I personally commence tx with Tinnitis followed by visceral manipulation of the Kidneys if necessary to restore the natural embryological movement patterns … this is a very big deal!

I like to finish with Auricular tx to discern further connections and ‘focus points’ that make symptoms chronic. I liken it to waxing the floors after they’ve had a good washing … hopefully, you have such a practitioner nearby.

EMF frequencies are the major factor with ringing ears and it’s very often confused with true tinnitis these days. This symptom is almost universal now that we’ve decided it’s a great idea to bath ourselves in microwaves 24-7. I’m in a spa hotel in Ashland, Oregon for the weekend with pervasive WiFi and it sounds like there’s a herd of crickets in my head!

Lol, yes to the crickets…Many thanks to all for the feedback. Somehow, after posting this, I lost site of this conversation, or didn’t have the notification turned on. I will add that over the last 4-5 years or so, in addition to the tinnitus, at times I’d had a clear drainage from my ears that seeped down to my lobe causing eczema below and behind the earlobe. I also had difficulty putting any metal in my earlobes without them inflaming and turning red and itchy. That has all cleared now, however I find I still have quite a bit of wax coming out daily.

Barre, When we lived in Maine, over a decade ago now, I had regular access to great osteopathic and cranial sacral care and treatments, and did so frequently. The University of New England has a wonderful osteopathic program and you could pretty much take your pick! Since living in the west I find chiropractors more prevalent and osteopaths less so. We are also in the midst of traveling around the globe a bit but will be back in California land in mid-june. If you have any suggestions of practitioners in the Reno/Grass Valley/Santa Cruz region we will be passing through those areas on our way to Music and Sky and after. In the mean time perhaps I can get my hands on the He Shou Wu. I’m not a huge coffee drinker as the caffeine seems to jolt me at times as well. Appreciate the correspondence and insights.

I had a friend who was suffering from tinnitus after receiving his doses of the mystery cocktail of 2021. I got him on a high potency Lions Mane extract and it sorted the issue pretty quickly. I know tinnitus can be caused by a variety of things and some solutions only work for some causes but thats what worked for him so I thought I would share.

Mine started, that I remember, in the late 80’s – I believe it might have started from a VERY loud firecracker that went off right next to me – but it could have started before – & I’m sure the EMF’s these days have made it worse, but it is SO loud, 24-7. I thankfully seem to be able to tune it out most of the time, but I sure would love to know what real silence is. I wonder how much it adds to stress without realizing it. It seems like such an ordeal to find a practitioner who can get to the bottom of each individual’s issues. Does Dr. Barre have a list of practitioners that do Auricular tx??

Speaking of DMSO, have you seen Amanda V.’s new course on Tinnitus? You need to be a member to access it, but it sounds quite interesting – hopefully you can see the email explaining it here:

Hi Kimberly, I have seen that she made this available as a course. I’m a bit reluctant to sign up for a whole course for solutions right now, however I am keeping this on my radar. Like many things, the symptoms come and go and are more noticeable at various times 😉
