I think a lot of businesses need some love right now, especially small ones that are holistically focused. I don’t have any affiliate links here either. So, feel free to share any of your favorites under this discussion if you wish.

I love Fair Indigo clothing! I’ve been buying clothes from them for quite a few years now…even before C19. Organic Pima cotton that is so well made. Grown and made in Peru. They now own their land for the Pima cotton which if you read the story on their website, not many people grow anymore.
I have their dresses, a ton of long and short sleeve t-shirts, and their organic cotton leggings (which require attention to get correct sizing and expectations). They do have a few items for men as well. They have pretty much become my uniform. I’m happy to answer any questions on items I’ve purchased. Take a look and see what you think!!!

Amber turned me into this organization, The Garden of Eden, located in Arlington, TX, in order to acquire turpentine.. Their website is worth giving a glance, the work they do, and their mission, etc.. They are not a commercial business, and operate on a donation basis.. A quote from their website:

“We are not a commercial business. We are an organization operating in a private capacity. All goods and services are offered by donation to our cause.”

Their website is here: https://www.intothegardenofeden.com/ .. Clicking on “Shop Goods” will show you the 79 items they currently offer.. 🤠

@Kev, I just went through their about sections…Wow! Pretty dedicated. Definitely, worth supporting. Freeze dried foods, herbs, supplements, and all sorts of things.

I thought the same thing, especially the logistics and dedication and vision in building up a line of products for offer and what that takes to pull that off, and continuously sustain it and keep it going.. No small thing and very respectable.. You know they got all sorts of collaboration going on there.. I get overwhelmed sometimes just dealing with my dozen jars of fermented this & that.. On top of all other things, not enough time!.. Lol.. But, I just ordered my second bottle of turpentine.. 😄

Speaking of all that sort of thing — I just had my third meeting with an older lady down the street (72 years young), and me and my buddy Kerry are about to dig in and start transforming her landscape and backyard (with a loungy shade garden planned, and hopefully a veggie garden for next year).. All free-of-charge, in the spirit of service and building authentic human relationships and community and all those words.. I think of that because I know how it all works logistically and what it takes to pull off a job and how to line up the ducks and execute.. No small thing, at all.. and rewarding too, just to put your mind and heart into something like that.. It’s not “work”, it’s doing what you love.. blah blah, I’m about to start going on about it.. Lol.. Maybe this thread isn’t the place for it.. But I am inspired at this moment to start a group called “Being of Service”.. or “Being of Service to Others”.. A place that would include, among other things, tangible services we humans offer to each other in the spirit of giving and strengthening our bonds.. 🤠

@Kev, when you see how happy she is about all the things you are doing…it will probably make you even happier! Funny how that works. And, who knows perhaps she will share some of her upcoming lovely garden with you down the road. Sunshine, creativity, and helping someone! Sounds like a win to me!
