I would say it depends on a number of factors including for what and where and how much and also making sure it’s pure. A small amount topically for instance isn’t a big deal but daily consumption of a lot could possibly impact the fetus in a way she wouldn’t want.

I wouldn’t recommend taking metal colloids during pregnancy for a number of reasons. If you can indicate your reason for using Colloidal Silver I may be able to offer an alternative.

The baby is almost 3 months old, and my niece has a rather serious eye infection (diagnosis is “periorbital cellulitis (bacterial infection caused by staph). She put it off for a few days, but is finally on oral augmentin as well as Erythromycin Ointment . I encouraged her to use to topical silver, topical raw honey, and a facial steam with a couple drops of tea tree oil. She did the first two, not sure she ever got around to the tea tree. She’s under way too much stress with a new baby and starting an internship in psychology at a local prison (!! – yes, been praying in authority over all that!)… but she does get to stay home this week to do training remotely and rest and heal. With the oral antibiotics, she’s pumping and dumping. So.. thoughts on oral colloidal silver with the antitbiotics and as a general supplement after? thanks SO much for your insights!

Now that’s an interesting idea… and she’s got plenty of that right now! LOL thanks – although there seems to be mixed reviews of that remedy and it would be hard to that to herself… haha. hmmm
