Hi! Wondering if Dr. Barre or anyone else on here has any insight into teeth sensitivity being connected at all to other parts of the body. In any case, about four months ago, my teeth started feeling really sensitive. This was about 24 hours before I was attending an energetic workshop with a guy named Ron Damico. Interestingly, when I was at the workshop, he spoke about how “some of you might have started feeling the energy shifting prior to coming here and that can look like teeth sensitivity…” Anyhow, he had mentioned I’d be experiencing it for a while. Now it’s been quite a while and I just wonder could any of this have any association with other body parts, if it’s actually energetic and I’ve just been going through something for months now. Or, if it could possibly be that my diy tooth powder is too harsh for my teeth – I use 50/50 salt and baking soda with drops of essential oil. I did use the AV Restorative Tooth Serum for a while til it ran out and that didn’t really help my teeth sensitivity either. Thanks for any insights!

Me too! Shifting a lot in the last few months and today the ones that previously I ruined with crest white strips very sensitive! I def want to figure something out! I’ve ordered raw milk locally and get the first batch in a week…perhaps that will help…

As much as I use urine therapy and jive on my fermented urine, I’ve only brushed with it a few times.. Honestly, I just keep forgetting to use it.. But I’m thinking that might be very helpful.. I wasn’t gonna mention it, because not everyone (or very few) can get down with that.. 🤠

        Belinda,

Perhaps keep a food journal and also switch the paste? Or start doing oil pulling? I noticed that soy sauce had caused the sensitivity…I would amend my comment but I need to use a computer I think (functionality-wise) I just saw this pertinent comment and wanted to add it to discussion to circle back to later / spark anyone’s knowledge…

I’ve had tooth sensitivity for years and had to use very toxic fluoride tpaste just to subdue it.. Just quit using it and it was okay.. Only thing that aggravates it is citrus sometimes (usually just limes).. But also, recently been having a bit of sensitivity again.. Not sure what’s up with that for sure..

But in terms of homemade toothpaste, 50/50 salt/baking soda might in fact be too harsh.. I’ve done a combination of Bentonite clay and Coconut oil (as a base), and then you can add essential oils (like Clove to calm the nerves), and if you want salt and/or baking soda in there, that too.. I also put Activated Charcoal in it too (or that’s an option).. But the bulk of it is a basic paste made out of Clay and Coconut oil, and I just keep it in a small jar and dip my tbrush into it.. Only thing is you shouldn’t spit the clay into the sink — the clay can get caught in the P-trap and clog your pipes (and so I just spit into a container or bag, to go into the compost or trash or whatnot)..

I wonder about the salt and baking soda, too. In the past I’ve made a homemade toothpowder with a some of baking soda and I’ve used a very small amount of salt powder vs fine salt. I’d rather use some sort of Celtic salt that is powdered, but all could find was Redmond’s. They sell around 8oz of powdered salt which works well since it is not as abrasive. Those are my thoughts on it.
I think I added Bentonite Clay (being careful to avoid metal contact-I used wood, glass, & ceramic) and that may create a pipe issue as Kev said. I didn’t think of that at the time. Same might be true of Coconut oil. I once tried using organic essential oils and one time when it all wasn’t mixed up well enough my tongue got hit by a bit of the essential oil. This burned so bad and I swear I think I still have cuts in my tongue from it. Never again! I don’t have sensitive teeth, but I have lost some enamel. You can use some tooth drops from companies instead of the essential oils and they do not burn.
At this point I stick with Dr. Barre stuff now and it’s just easier all the way around.

I’m gonna have to see what AV offers.. Right now I’m just lazy on doing the best options (oil pulling, fermented urine, clay concoctions, whatever), and so am using Dr. Bronner’s soap-free natural toothpaste that I dip in activated charcoal.. No fuss.. But it’s also one of those things that so many things and issues to get at that I get lost, mind can’t quite take it all on like I used to.. and so I just go the easy route..

But yeah, I got terribly receded gum lines (I’m told due to diabetes), and so my teeth can get super sensitive.. The other day I ate a couple slightly under-ripened plums and the acid aggravated the nerves, just like lime juice might..

Okay, off to sungaze.. That I can do.. 🤩

Thanks to everyone for your comments/suggestions. Yes, I guess I’ll have to change my tooth powder…I’m definitely open to AV products and would love to understand the protocol for using the products. Maybe just oil pull and the serum. @Kev I’m going to have to pass on the urine. Hahaha.
