Hi Dr. Barre, I have a friend who is struggling with receding gums, he’s turned around his health in the last few years, but wondering what treatment he should be following aside from using AV tooth serum to help with his gums regenerating? Many thanks!

    Elizabeth,

I have had great results with this

It’s also really important you look at his insulin resistance, it’s tough to make progress with the gums without having correct insulin action. I would also switch him from flossing to a gentle water pik. Burst makes a good one so does water pik. It’s been my experience that flossing makes receding gums worse.

Thanks for the video Penny.. I’ll take any info. I can on receded gums, and I’ll be watching that later.. I’ve had receded gums rather bad for several years — they say due to diabetes.. plus my teeth have eroded quite a bit at the same time.. So odd & frustrating, as I have historically had immaculate oral hygiene.. The folks at Cultivate Elevate claim that Dragon’s Blood will fix receded gums.. Don’t know anything about that, but would be willing to try..

        Kev,

It’s probably the blood sugars then. Also I realized that we way over do our oral hygiene. We scrub and rinse and disinfect and floss and oi vey, that just pays for the dentists kids to go to college. It’s bad info they give us, right from the get-go.

A whole vitamin c supplement helps too, most are ascorbic acid, which isn’t really vitamin c, but only a small part of what makes vitamin c what it really is. Dr Lando makes a great vitamin c that I use myself.

I have never tried dragons blood for gums before. Interesting.

I’m still confused about what whole or natural Vitamin C is.. I know it’s not ascorbic acid.. If I don’t use AV’s offering, what would I look for??.. Oh, I think I heard once that sodium ascorbate assimilates much better.. but still sounds synthetic..

The bottle or jar of c should have food listed such as “alma, strawberries, cherry, rose hips” 🙂 dr berg has a good c wafer that is nice and clean.

That was a great video.. Finally a routine I can use that makes sense and is tangible.. Really like the 3-step routine (i.e. salt rinse, oil pulling, turmeric paste).. And wouldn’t you know it, my applied kinesiologist recently prescribed sesame oil for liver and stored anger flushing.. so I have that on-hand now (arrived yesterday).. As they say, “so synchro”.. Ha!.. Especially like the idea of combine cloves with the oil.. My sense is that cloves are astringent to the gums and will help tighten them up and halt recession.. I think I’ll steep coarse-ground cloves in sesame oil and infuse that over the long-term.. In the meantime, use the method they show here..

And just recently I was thinking I needed a water pick instead of flossing.. I started flossing a few years ago several times a day only after my teeth started to erode and developed spaces between.. Food gets stuck in there all the time constantly..

      Great info.!

We just released the AV Oral Detox & Renew, as the companion product to the Tooth Serum … rather than do an entire infomercial here I’d encourage you to check out: https://stg-alfavedic-801.uw2.rapydapps.cloud/product/dental-solutions/ There is nothing like it available in the entire industry.

This looks great! I have my husband using the Tooth serum for a cavity. I am going to get him the oil solution too.
