Hello! We have been to India for 3 weeks. My husband got fever there and was down for 3 days, he got an injection from some doctor to reduce the fever hoping to get a speedy recovery. I am frustrated about this unnecessary intervention but don’t know what it was. He has no fever now just cough and we are back in the US. His bloodwork shows low platelet count and I am wondering why and what can be done to improve the number. In general the last 2 months have been very hectic for him with too much travel.
A few years back he disrupted his gut microbiome by taking triple therapy antibiotics for hPylori and since then had constipation and gas issues. These improve with probiotics and gut support. He also has hemorrhoids problem and I am trying to help him with homeopathy.
