Hello! I see a lot of hair loss from about 3 weeks , so much that I see hair all over the floor even when I am not combing or taking a shower in which cases its a lot more. My bloodwork from August shows I have low iron. I have stopped taking hypothyroid medications since 2 yrs but the numbers seem to be in control.

Currently I am taking AV liquid gold, mega food brand Iron caps, Mg glycinate, ashwagandha, shilajit and suku hair and nails. AV coffee enema at least thrice a month, 12in1 and silica cell salts. I have also ordered ADV DMSO hair spray.

Any inputs on what could be the cause/possible solutions would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Wow, that’s intense, Divya! I can only share my own hair loss experience from a few years back when I was eating a lot of carbs (I’d call it “mainlining”). Have you looked at your diet?

Thanks for the reply Hulda, I do eat rice everyday and I can swap it with quinoa. I can say I eat pretty healthy atleast 90% of the time

Divya, did you have any big shocks to your system in the past few months or so such as: loss of loved one, acute debilitating illness, big move to a new home etc? The way the hair follicles work is that there is a delay in the shock response and you see hair fall later. The good news is that, if this is the case, the hair returns.

Thank you Penny for your reply. I don’t say shock, but yes I have been stressed out for the last couple of months.

I just started using the DMSO hair growth spray along with the rest of Amanda’s protocol and I’ve seen a noticeable improvement in just the first 2 weeks.

Also, I would suggest researching the “iron deficiency” thing more. From what I understand, low iron in the blood is not something that can be fixed with iron supplements. The issue seems to be that the iron gets trapped in the organs and that’s why it’s not in the blood. Getting more copper can bring the iron out and get it circulating again. Even vegetarians with normal body function won’t be low in iron. Putting more iron into the system can cause inflammation. Again, I just have a rudimentary understanding of this, so check it out for yourself. Maybe that’s a reason for the sudden hair loss?

I agree with Hugh’s comment about iron; it’s not that it’s not there, it’ll most likely be stored in tissue and not be ‘recycled’ efficiently. Copper is a key nutrient in harnessing the oxygen that iron carries as well as mag, sodium and potassium being key players. The Root Cause Protocol/Morley Robbins covers it. I did the training a couple of years ago and found it very useful.
