Dr. Barre, do you have any relationships with homeopaths in the Cincinnati area that you would recommend? More specifically, for a 15 month old who’s had “skin” challenges ever since a traumatic birth? Or any other practitioners you’d recommend? I can get into more detail, but he was in the NICU for almost 3 wks after a very difficult vag birth, meconium coated his lungs, difficulty breathing, given antibiotics day one, etc, but no vax. I get it’s not a skin issue, but that’s the primary exhibited symptoms. Have done work to heal the gut, but symptoms, while becoming less visible, still flare up, so obviously not healed. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, insights and recommendations, I greatly value your perspective.❤

    Janelle,

In awaiting Dr. Barre’s reply I wanted to let you know I’m a practitioner in the Northern KY area (30 min south of Cincinnati.) I’d be happy to offer my services if you feel it would be a good fit. Here is my info: https://synergyholistichealth.com/practitioners/dr-tommy-hughes/

Have you looked into GNM/GHK? From that perspective all skin symptoms are the result of a separation conflict. Was the baby separated from his mother immediately after birth? Has the skin rash come and gone? Does it tend to flare up at times when he is reunited with his mother after periods of separation? Skin symptoms appear during the healing phase of a separation conflict and stepping on the track of being separated and then reunited with his mom can be keeping him in a hanging healing which leads to chronic symptoms.

Erin, yes, thank you, I have! In answer to your question re separation, being immediately whisked away to the NICU definitely involved separation from Mom, in fact Mom wasn’t even able to hold him til the second day.😢 However, given the amount of extreme medical intervention he received, I am thinking that may not address everything. I am, however, inclined to believe from the GNM perspective, that separation may very well play a (large?) role. I recently watched an amazing video of a guy with Dr. Melissa Sell, who spoke of his skin issues into adulthood and rather quickly remedied them through the GNM perspective. It was quite profound and hugely impacted my thinking. That conversation, in case anyone’s interested. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5D-2-F3OJoM

Thank you for sharing this video as I always enjoy Melissa’s style of teaching GNM through interviews. I’m so sorry that poor little guy has had such a rough start to his life. I agree that the amount of medical intervention he is receiving is likely toxic and homeopathic detox and/or getting him on a good constitutional remedy is a wise route to take. My youngest had a similar start to life, although not quite as intense as it sounds like this little guy went through, and we worked with a great MD turned homeopath when she was 3 and she bounced back so quickly!

I know GNM would also point out that the continued medical interventions may be causing new conflicts which could be creating new or worsening symptoms which I would agree with. Although I still believe that the actual toxic effects of these interventions cause symptoms as well, so I’m definitely not a GNM purist, but I think it all plays a role.
