I feel like I lost track of my first post, not sure there was a response so sorry if I’m missing something! Would really like some help on getting my gut under control, I purchased symbio Para roqueforti, and Illumina greens as a start but would appreciate help with information. my gut issue has been going on for about 2 years now with mild uncomfortability and rarely a normal stool, usually tarry. Appetite not functioning normally either.

Hi Garrett, I’m sorry to hear about your issues with your gut. The greens sound like a good way to up your game on your daily detoxing. I think I once heard Dr. Barre say to try going on one week and then off a week. I guess to give your system a break. I do take them a few times a week just for maintenance.

I did post a few talks and a couple of PDFs that might be helpful to you. I think the discussion title was What products do I need in this same group. He did post a few things regarding the isopathics in a reply in Health & Wellness today that might be helpful. Under the Porch Talk post.

Has anything helped you over the past 2 years and what sort of changes have you made?

I’m hoping some of these changes are making a difference for you. ?

Thanks for the response! I tried some probiotics for a while. Also saw a doctor who had me do some blood tests and ulcer test, both of which came back with no issues. I never made it to a GI doctor and honestly would rather find a route away from the mainstream medical systems. Thank you so much for the information I will look into that stuff!

There are 2 probiotics that work best: Pharmax Human Lactic Commensals (HLC) which are human derived strains more capable of proliferating in the human digestive tract, and 2) SBO or Soil Based Organisms that we should all be getting from fresh, local produce, but now deficient due to depleted soil, over-washing, storage, etc of all foods including organic.

Keep in mind that it takes months of very consistent supplementation of these to have a lasting impact. After 6 months of age the developing gut decreases dramatically year by year in its ability to permanently colonize the necessary bacterial strains that should have been firmly established thru the first months of breast-feeding.

I have a new digestive blend that I’ll make available in a couple of weeks that provides a very comprehensive action for gut restoration.

Thank you! Excited for your new upcoming product. Our digestion seems to need all the help it can get these days.

      Hi Barre

Will the Illumined Digest help with GERD? I have had non acidic, non heartburn reflux since menopause (16 years!?). It’s that feeling of regurgitation making me want to clear my throat, and sometimes cough. I can have a bout regardless of what I eat, don’t eat, when I eat, fast, etc.. If I just partly recline it starts up. Lying down of course. I can sip a bit of water driving and it starts up. Usually about an hour after eating. Not usually at night though, even after a somewhat late meal or snack. I have several remedies for symptoms that work- baking soda in water, fennel seeds, fennel essential oil in the bs water, or carb. veg.. sometimes I can breathe and flex the area to calm it. But NOTHING heals it. It’s torturous for me. ?

      Thanks!

        Hello Sarah,

I have a similar situation. For me it’s along the lines of silent reflux/LPR and I’m guessing the root cause is emotional…stress, traumatic experiences. These issues started prior to menopause, which didn’t help! I’ve done a lot of digging, experimenting, etc. with no permanent resolution. I’m about half way through the Illumined Digest bottle and trust it will do my digestion some good, however, I believe the big picture for me is about the vagus nerve. Just thought I would share, in case it’s helpful in some way. Also, I really like this lady’s input… https://www.youtube.com/@gutmicrobiomequeen

Thanks Sheri! I’ll check that out. Vagus nerve makes sense as a contributing factor. I can have an attack when stressed too.
