My partner began having grand mal seizures about 3 years ago. No jab! They begin in the middle of the night usually with a fall and LOC, then repeat about every hour ranging from 2-4 episodes. Disoriented for the day and ongoing orientation issues that improve with days but not fully returning. There is no tumor and allopathic only offers drugs! He has been taking Standard Process supplements recommended by an acupuncturist, recently started on C60 and was considering cell salts. Not sure where to learn more about causes and prevention. Thoughts? Thank you for any insights.

    Hi Kathy,

While blood sugar fluctuations are not the root cause of seizures, they can trigger them. I would get him a continuous glucose monitor and see where he is at when he has his seizures, what foods or activities causes crashes and spikes. That way he can make daily preventative choices. Also,, the Ketogenic diet (I prefer a whole foods vegetarian version) was literally created for kids with seizures, and it is pretty darn useful for so many modern issues.

I wanted to add an intuitive thought here. Can you get him a nice shungite tower or similar for his bedside, or maybe a necklace, bracelet or all of the above? Shungite is here to help us fix our field of existence.

      Hi Kathy

I’ve mentioned this elsewhere, but a wonderful remedy for any seizure or neurological hypertonicity is Gemmo (stem cell preparation) Tilia Tomentosa (Silver Linden). UNDA brand can be found on the internet, which is my preferred source. Kali Phos (nerve transmission) and Mag Phos (nerves/muscle) will be critical to supplement as well. Since symptoms are always associated with Bioterrain imbalances there’s most definitely other issues that need attention, but the above suggestions may prove as helpful first steps.

Also, if you are concerned about the emf of a glucose monitor you can just do an old school food diary to find triggers. It’s also important to support brain recovery because, those seizures are a lot of electrical activity on the brain. Some cold pressed organic flax seed oil (the kind you have to keep in the fridge) can help recovery.

    Kathy ,

my dog had mal grand seizures exactly every 4 weeks , 1 seizure every 60 minutes for 36 hours , totaling 36 seizures .

I suggest cranial sacral therapy along with chiropractic adjustments and daily baths with a cup of pure sea salt .

a very clean diet of mostly raw milk or raw milk products and organic eggs and fruit may help greatly with re-alignment , thus re-circuiting the electricity .

Oh no! How’s puppy doing now? I like prana pets s-support for dogs and cats with seizures. I am surprised how many dogs and cats get seizures, I suspect it’s the synthetic vitamins in their foods but not entirely certain. Btw AV makes pet vitamins that I use for my fur kids now.

I’m reliving my past and all I have chosen to ignore – my doggo growing up was an amazing teacher, yet until reading this wee thread, I’d mostly forgotten – I was the only one in our household that would recognize the signal of an oncoming weekly or bi-weekly grand mal seizure in the doggy – we quickly got to the point where she would seek me out in a special way, and we proceeded at first in learning and developing/ teaching each other a calming ritual, her seizures stayed petite and after about 6 years her seizures ended entirely, but for when I took off for a month, my parents just let her flop around and were going to put her down (years before her time) – that happened only once, I came back and was with her until the end of her days. I don’t have it all figured out by any means, I’ve screwed up big time, I do know the propensity to have spent a lifetime since ignoring the opportunities to learn since my little buddy passed, to learn more and apply more – kudos to you all for the learning and sharing here… I’m rambling but you may be sharing about the seizures, yet there is sooo much here good people – thanks.

    Penny ,

the dog is long gone . with him I learned to feed my pets real food . my next dog is now 16 1/2 and healthy ! she had minor tremors this past summer which stopped after her diet consisted mostly of raw milk . she now drinks milk throughout the day and eats fish in the evening . she also takes cell salts and AlfaVedic ‘s C60 .

I am so glad your current pup is doing well. Obviously has a great mama. ❤️ I had my cats on Rawr (raw food) in Oakland before we fled during the riots and it has been bit of a struggle to find a good replacement out here in the Sacto valley. Thus far it’s been Open Farm and some freeze dried raw food.

Maybe we need an animal wellness thread over at health and wellness so we are not spamming Barre and hijacking Kathy’s question. ?

Jon , you and she had a special connection and that electricity was good for her , kudos for you staying with her ! I left my dog once and he had seizures off his monthly schedule and nearly died . once I found out his dire state , we connected heart to heart over 3,000 miles and within the hour he was running and leaping for joy . it was truly miraculous !

Diane…that made me cry. So much more remedy in this astral existence than meets the eye, yes? I try not to beat myself up about ignoring it for most of my adult life – I’m paying the consequences of arrogance now as I get closer to the finish line on this ‘cycle’, but sure is fun looking back, learning forward and sharing the adventures. Cheerz Dianne, thanks for sharing!

Hi Kathy I saw your message to Dr. Barro about your partner and I remembered this author what he talks about diet, raw food and juicing, he has recipes for the symptoms you mentioned and gives an example of someone that had seizures and did a colon cleanse or irrigation and a fist size of worms came out of the stomach, here is the link for his books if you like to have a look http://www.drnwwalker.com/overview-books.php, I read first the one about juicing where he talks about that and other conditions as well, and having a meditation practice for healing other aspects of personality, mind and emotions.
