    Dear Dr Barre,

I have several amalgam fillings which likely contain mercury that may be causing me problems.

A while ago on a podcast you said that a person shouldn’t go to just any dentist to address this, but rather they should go to a certain type of dentist. Unfortunately, I don’t remember specifically what was said.

Do you or anyone else reading this remember what type of dentist would be needed in this instance?

Also, do you or anyone else know how one can go about finding them?

Try this search to find a biological dentist. Some “holistic dentists” also practice safe mercury removal. Try to get referrals if possible. There are several in my area with varying offerings and abilities. Also, I’ve heard that there are more cost efficient options in Mexico. If anyone has a referral for that, I’m all ears! Pricing for a root canal extraction, ozone, bone stimulation and regrowth using stem cells, and ceramic implant will cost $21,000 at the most popular biological dentist in Portland. Saving my pennies, but if there are more affordable options and a vacation or two in Mexico, I’d love to hear about it!

Dr Reese in Indianapolis is great! Not sure if you live close to there. If not I would look up holistic dentistry and your town to find one. Def ask lots of questions or get referrals from any local health food store on who they have heard is good.

Where are you located? When interviewing any dentist for Amalgam removal make sure they adhere to the following: 1) take the time to thoroughly install an airtight mouth damn, 2) slow speed drilling, 3) cold water irrigation, 4) you breath thru an external oxygen source, 5) sophisticated biofeedback technology to test dental materials for individual compatibility, 6) post removal laser neural therapy, 7) 1-3 intrabuccal prolotherapy with predetermined customized isopathic/ozone/interleukin-cytokine injections per removal site, 8) last but not least … german auricular therapy to treat all issues linked to the tooth, including the limbic-emotional area of the brain as mercury-amlagams are biologically perceived as traumatic encroachments due to the extreme invasiveness & toxicity.

      nice and thorough summation, barre.

finding a biological dentist worth their salt can be a bit of a challenge in some locations, worth the trip if you need to go out of town for treatment.

You can do a search online for biological dentists in your area. I found a local one this way. Theres also some kind of association of biological dentists. when you go to the website of individual ones it will be clearly stated if they do the safe amalgam removal or not.

Whoa, sweet list. Thanks Barre! I’ll start asking more questions and if anyone finds a dentist that ticks all the boxes, please share! Then we can all meet up for a “clean up your mouth” dental party. Mike, can you dejay?? ?

I was lucky to have such a dentist in Toronto. he was from India and he followed what dr lando described, he tested before hand which tooth he was going to do first. by sections, spaced it out months in between, then retested the impact in my mouth and decide which ones ( usualy 2 at a time) that will be next. He was the dentist in Toronto who trained several dentists of the proper procedure. He since has passed away but the dentists he trained are practicing in Toronto . I was also tested for what could my tissues would accept and my fillings were prepared by him accordingly. my homeopath gave me remedies to take to help the process.

Also I have added my tcm doctor/homeopath do auricular therapy as dr lando mentioned.
It really help my health. it was the first thing my homeopath recommended for me to do as he could see with the number of fillings I had , my health was affected.
I did this back in 1996. I also wanted to have it all done before having a child to be the best I could and with more energy haha.

i hope you find a good one in your area.

    Rochelle,

To add to what everyone has said I would look into the https://iaomt.org/

It is my experience that most holistic dentists from the IAOMT now can offer what Dr. Lando has outlined but very few do 5/6/7 on his list and most likely you would have to find another practitioner to also do the auricular therapy.

I know this was addressed to the Doc Barre, but Dr. John Bergman from Huntington Beach CA is associated with a clinic in TJ Mexico that is really good and they have a great Biological Dentist thing going on. Although I wasn’t there for Dental, I talked with others that were and I would back there in a heartbeat if I were needing this kind of work done.
