    Hi Dr. Barre,

I’m wondering if you have any favourite books on alchemy and biogeometry? I have Dr. Karim’s books, so if you know of anything outside of his work, I’d love to know about others.

I am new to Alchemy generally speaking, so any beginner books, as well as more advanced books would be awesome! I’m particularly interested in original writings from more ancient alchemists.

    Thanks in advance 🙂

Renata, I’ve been reading Steve Young’s “A Fool’s Wisdom” and he give an intro to alchemy in there. Also some of the podcasts by Crrow777 give some basic in to that subject. 😀

    Hi Renata

I wouldn’t know here to start, but you might look at Hermetic Herbalism by Jean Maveric. The problem with these kinds of texts is that they delve into lab processes after some basic philosophy … good for lab nerds, but I don’t know how useful otherwise. The important take-away is that Alchemy is a Spiritual practice via aligning oneself with the lab practices that mimic Natural Design. Walter Russell explained Alchemy in Electrical terms and Steiner by observing the patterns of metamorphosis in living entities. While they all left invaluable bread crumbs to follow, we are presently in the age of “cutting to the chase”. That being said, the Saint Germaine series (Green Books) is just that … no occult practices, academics or doing karma. The difficulty lies in the unlearning.

Thanks, Barre. You’re right about unlearning. Perhaps I will start with some of the books you mentioned.
